A major healthcare network was operating on a legacy PHP 5 ERP system. They needed a complete modernization to PHP 8 with a fully revamped UI/UX, without disrupting daily operations.
We architected a phased migration strategy that allowed for a seamless transition. The result is a highly secure, performant, and user-friendly system that empowers pharmacy staff to operate more efficiently.
Refactored over one lac lines of legacy code distributed across more than 20,000+ files. We painstakingly upgraded the core architecture and eliminated thousands of deprecated functions, transitioning the entire system from PHP 5 to PHP 8. This massive technical debt reduction drastically improved system response times, streamlined future maintainability, and ensured strict compliance with modern data security standards for sensitive patient records.
Transformed a cluttered, functionally-overloaded legacy interface into a clean, modern, and highly intuitive dashboard. By conducting extensive user research with pharmacy staff, we reimagined the layout to minimize clicks, reduce cognitive load, and significantly accelerate daily workflows—allowing medical personnel to focus more on patient care and less on navigating complex software.
Executed a highly complex deployment strategy utilizing parallel legacy and modern systems. We engineered a custom live-data syncing pipeline that mirrored database transactions in real-time between the old PHP 5 environment and the new PHP 8 infrastructure. This meticulous approach guaranteed absolutely no interruptions to critical patient care or pharmacy operations during the seamless cutover phase.
